So today's post is about Solstice Scents, my favorite perfumery. Recently she came out with her Winter collection and it has, by far, been my favorite collection.

Here is my mini collection of full size perfumes and samples.

I have full sized bottles of Russian Caravan, Nightstar, Spiked Nog & Nutmeg, Snowshoe Pass, and Dark Ginger Spicecake.
I also got my sister a bottle of Sugarvale.

I have samples of Flintlock, Outpost and Bayberry.

Now, what do I think of them? I'll start with the full sizes and go from the ones I like least to the ones I like most.

Russian Caravan
Official description: Smoked Black Tea, Leather, Pomegranate, Black Currant, Amber & Pink Peppercorn

This is my least favorite out of the bunch. My boyfriend picked it out; he's dutch and black currant (cassis)flavored stuff is extremely popular in the Netherlands. The leather is the scent I smell most and I'm not crazy about it. There is a lovely, strong undertone of sweetness from the amber, and fruitiness though. The leather wears off after awhile and leaves mainly the fruitiness, which I really like. This one is definitely starting to grow on me, but I still have difficulty liking the leather. I don't smell any black tea notes when I wear it. As a whole, this scent is pretty strong. It's overpowering all the other scents I have on for this post. ;p

Nightstar
Official description: Nutmeg, Patchouli, Frankincense, Myrrh, Woods and Lemon

I really like this one, but it's not "perfumey" to me. I like to use this one before bed to ground and calm me. Nightstar has a very strong patchouli note which mingles with the frankincense and myrrh. It doesn't smell like lemon, but I can smell a slightly lemon-y addition, it just melds with the other scents very well. Disappointingly, I can't detect any nutmeg. I do like this scent very much, I love patchouli <3 it's just not my favorite.

Spiked Nog and Nutmeg
Official description: Scented with Creamy Egg Nog, Nutmeg Essential Oil and a Dash Of Rum

This is a re-release, and I actually got it last year, but I wanted to include it anyway. I absolutely love egg nog, how it tastes and smells, so I knew I had to get this scent. The most prominent note is the nutmeg, it's very strong. Underneath the nutmeg is a creamy egg nog scent. To me, as a whole, this scent does not smell exactly like egg nog, but I till love it anyway. It's a strong, spicy egg nog, not a creamy, milky scent. I don't detect the rum very much, it blends with the spicyness. This scent is like a sharper, spicier, much less sweet version of the ginger bread and vanilla scent. This scent is very winter-y to me.

Dark Ginger Spicecake
Official description: Gingerbread, Woodsy Musk, Patchouli EO and Vetiver EO

I absolutely love this scent. I got a sample of it last year, and I didn't like it as much at the time. I hadn't gotten used to patchouli yet, but this scent quickly grew on me. By the time this collection came out I knew I had to get the full size. This scent is sooo delicious. It's a really lovely gingerbread, but not too sweet because of the earthiness from the patchouli and vetiver. It's foody, but not too foody and sweet. The earthiness i very strong; it smells like a gingerbread man that someone dropped into dirt. Definitely near the top of my favorites list. Extremely winter-y, and a great alternative for people who like something different than sweet vanilla-y scents.

Snowshoe Pass
Official description: White Amber, White Musk, Vanilla Accord, Peppermint Cream, Cold Winds

By far, this is my second favorite perfume/scent ever. It's sweet, but not foody. The peppermint is barely detectable, it melds so well with the other scents. Angela described it very well as the "cold version of Pharaoh", which is my first favorite scent. (snowshoe pass might quickly move into #1 though). This scent is difficult for me to describe, it's not really like anything else I've smelled before, except Pharaoh. It has the same musky notes, but it isn't as sweet, and, just "colder". It's really amazing, and I love this scent SO much.

Sugarvale
Official description: Candied Pecans, Butterscotch, Buttered Rum, Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, Hot Pralines & Milk Chocolate Cocoa

This is a scent that I wouldn't buy for myself, it's very sweet and foody. But my younger sister loves this kind of scent best. It reminds me of sugar cookie/bakery scented candles. I don't smell the pecans or milk chocolate much, I don't really smell any of the scents in the description specifically. They all meld together to make a sweet, cake/bakery type scent. My sister absolutely loves it.

Official description: Sugar Crystals, Spruce, Fir, Soft Woods, Bayberry, Mistletoe & Amber

This scent starts out smelling like a forest. Very strong fir and spruce, like a christmas tree. There's a bit of bayberry in there too. I gave this sample to my brother after I got it in the mail, so I have yet to wear it all day. But smelling it after my brother wore it, it seemed to turn into Thornwood Thicket, or what it smells like after wearing it for awhile. A very sweet, woodsy scent. I do enjoy this one very much, it's definitely a wintery scent. I won't get this one in full size because I've already bought too many already, but I really like it.

Flintlock
Official description: Tobacco, Saddle Leather, Virginia Cedar, Black Pepper, Woods, Bayberry & Evergreens

This one is definitley surpisingly good. I'm not crazy about leather or tobacco, but they play a minor role in this scent. Out of the bottle it has a soft woodsy scent, slightly leathery but it's very subtle. Because I have Russian Caravan (Gotta have all the scents on so I can describe them!) on it smells much more leather-y than when I put it on alone. After qearing it for a few minutes it starts to smell like a burning fireplace. This isn't a strong scent, but pleasantly woodsy and smokey, and not sweet at all. Flintlock so far has been the one scent pretty much my whole family enjoys. I'll probably get a full size for my brother for christmas.

Bayberry
Official description: Traditional Yule and Christmas Scent

I got this sample last year, but since it's been re-released I figured I should add it as well. This simply smells like a christmas tree. It's very sharp and strong, and a little overpowering to me. After wearing it awhile it does softly smell berry-ish. I really like it, but not enough to buy the full size.

Hey guys~

I'm in Kansas now. All moved in with internet, took us three weeks to travel here and unpack everything.

I've been feeling very goth-inspired lately. With the cooler weather here and sun not-so-bright I can vary my gothy outfits more than before. So I am going to shift the focus of my blog to fashion/goth. I will do an outfit post atleast once a week. I will also try to do a gothy photo inspiration post as well as a clothes/accessories themed post once a week. Maybe a music post as well, but I have kind of an odd taste in music. I love sewing and diy stuff so I will make posts for things that I sew and how to make them.

I know I'm not a writer; but I love goth fashion and I feel that it's dying out, especially with the younger generation. I believe I have a unique style and would like to share it and help invigorate the goth scene again.

Hello again ;D

First off are the crystals I got when I visited my boyfriend in Amsterdam. There's a great little shop called Himalaya and they had alot of books, crystals, incense etc; I loved it.

An Amber bracelet I got, I wear it almost everyday now.

Lapis lazuli merkaba pendulum, tumbled labradorite, 2 tumbled celestite, silver necklace that opens and a tiny herkimer diamond to put inside, tumbled fluorite.

Next up, the crystals I got from the Tuscon gem show

A tiger's eye point pendant and pink opal beads for my sister, also a free rose quartz tumble I got from one of the sellers.

They're all really good prices right now. I think all except the amethyst is on sale. I absolutely love the fluorite, and it's only 2$ for all 10!

Next, my ren faire spoilz. I got this hair spiral thing from Single tree. Mine was only 20$, so it's cheaper to buy them at the faire than online.

And a little tree of life raku bottle and a bird whistle from Birds of Play.

I added the chain onto the bottle to make it a necklace. I also have an essential oil blend in it. This person on etsy has a ton of Raku bottles if you're interested. Also, it's much smaller than I thought it would be, its only about an inch or two and very light/easy to wear.

And finally my new tarot deck. It's the "Harmonious Tarot" deck and I absolutely love it.

Lets talk about tarot for a second, shall we? I've been on the fence about getting a deck for a long time. I have several pendulums that I rarely use, and I'm not terribly into divination. So I figured if I got a deck I would never use it. However I was browsing through tarot decks on amazon and llywelyn's website and I found this one. I found this review and I knew this was the deck for me, so I bought it. I love the detail and muted colors.

Since I got it in the mail I have been using it everyday, I absolutely love it. Surprisingly, I find tarot readings much easier than I thought I would. I can look at a card and know how it speaks to me very quickly. I've been drawing a card in the morning every day to either guide me through the day or to see what it holds for me. So far, it has been very accurate and I believe this deck will greatly help me listen to my intuition.

In conclusion, I highly suggest to anyone interested in tarot, or in finding an aid for hearing your intuition, to get your own tarot deck. Find one that speaks to you, one that you think is absolutely beautiful.

It's hard to believe it's been months since my last post. I've been very busy with school and sewing and my new obsession, monster high dolls, since I got back from visiting my boyfriend.

I have some makeup pictures I had been meaning to post but haven't gotten around to it until now. A few weeks ago I wanted to do a colorful lipstick week. Which ended up being only 3 days because I help out at an elementary school on Fridays so odd lipstick isn't appropriate, and I forgot to take a picture one day.

Anyway, onto the pictures I do have! All the lipstick colors were made with clear lip gloss and aromaleigh eyeshadow.

Also an extra one that was not during my week of colorful lipstick. Aromaleigh Jolie for my lips, I love this color.

Hello everyone ^^ I'm sorry I haven't had anything to post. Had a nice thanksgiving though. Watched an Agatha Christie (Hercule poirot) movie with my family.

The biggest news I have is that I'm going to visit my boyfriend in Amsterdam from December 28 to January 13~! Got my passport and the ticket already. The passport was quick, only took 10 days. I am super excited~

Anyway, here's my makeup from today

And here's a look I did a couple days ago, I wanted to do green lips. I used aromaleigh "mayhem's triology" and some gloss to make the lip color. I'm kinda considering doing more simple eyeshadow looks and crazy lip colors.

And finally, I was able to go to a Native American festival on Sunday. It was small, but pretty cool. It was the Yavapi "Orne Dam" days festival. I mainly wanted to go to get some fry bread, but it wasn't that great tasting. I'll probably try going to a fry bread restaurant sometime. But there were several people selling handmade jewelry. I bought this ring, and I got a ring for my sister.

I also got a new medicine bag. I love all the native american cultures, I have since I was very young. But it was very cold and rainy, so my mom didn't want to stay there very long.

I'm not sure what stone is in this ring, I think it's obsidian. I had a garnet ring but it fell under the couch one day and my dad ended up throwing it away.

Chime candles!

I found them at Joanns, of all places. They were only about 3$ for this pack of 20. They also had packs of red candles too. I never thought I'd find a store selling these, and I've been wanting a pack of white ones. Pretty cheap too, they're normally 5$ but they were 40% off. Most metaphysical stores I've found sell packs of 20 for around 7$, not including shipping.

Just some random stuff I've gotten recently to show you guys ;D

Sooo, Yeah I love skulls. Halloween is a fantastic time to get awsome candles. I found this pack of 4 oversized tealight skull candles at TJ maxx. They don't smell so great, but I'll just put oil on em anyway. They just looked so cool I couldn't resist. They were 7$. They also had a big skull with a snake wrapped around it that I loved, but it was 13$.

Next, this little candy dish thing I got at hobby lobby. I really like it, and it was 2$ on sale. Without the lid it kinda looks like a cauldron. It also has shapes like lotus petals or pine cone seeds(?). I have some sea salt and quartz points in it right now.

And finally, I got my order from vermorilian and Conjured Cardea today. These oils both smell fantastic. I also got herbs from vermorilian, but they're not interesting enough to take a picture of. ;p

Flying witches tea Sounds awsome. Mugwort is super bitter, but with the other herbs it would probably be tastey. I can only drink mugwort tea when it's mixed with peppermint. When I do drink it, it doesn't space me out or let me astral travel any easier (unfortunatly) but it's amazingly relaxing.

Cardamom lip balm I'm always on the look-out for oddly flavored lip balms

Cerridwen oil I love this lady, she's so cool. She made this after I suggested it ^^ I bought some, can't wait til it gets here. I also wanna get some of her Spiritual incense. I have a pet bird and cannot use charcoal tablets in my room, tho I haven't tried them before, birds are very sensitive to smoke. I use incense cones occasionally, but only when I have both my windows open and I keep the smoke going out the window. With that kind of incense I could use a tiny amount at a time.

Hello guys ^^ Been busy with school and stuff. My fingerprint card got declined so I had to get reprinted, ugh. once I finally get it it I'm gonna be busy going to a kindergarten class alot, I gotta have 30 hours of intern work to pass my Edu 101 class. I'm excited for it though. I'm much happier and I have much more energy than when I did my internship in high school, so it should be really fun.

Anyway, I got two orders from Healing Crystals last month ^^ I was really pining after some crystals, but I think I'm set for a long time now. I got some oil and herbs from Vermorilian coming in the mail, she has her oils 30% off! I've been really wanting some. I got the Cernunnos oil and herbs for a dream/psychic powers pouch for Samhain. The one I made from Litha's lost most of it's scent.

Alright, onto the crystals.

Here's my first order. Top row, left to right: 5 red tiger's eye, amethyst skull, 5 yellow jasper. Second row: 2 iolite, azurite in the middle, tiger eye heart at the right and at the lower left is a free red jasper piece and small quartz point.

Come on, a crystal skull? I had to get one. They're like, hidden in discontinued crystals but they're only 2.75$ Here if you're interested. It's kinda not anatomically correct at all, but I love him. I hold him in my hand when I sleep and he's got good energy. Also, the clear quartz point and azurite. I really like how the azurite looks, it's sparkley and pretty but I haven't really felt much from it.

Next order I asked my boyfriend to buy me. ^^; It's like, 5$ cheaper for him to buy anything, because of the euro exchange rate.

Top row: Aquamarine (it's pretty big), rose quartz skull, danburite, lepidolite. Second row: 10 quartz points, 5 Dumortierite, 2 red jasper, 1 raw lepidolite piece. Last row: Scolecite, 3 apophyllite points, a free copal piece, the free quartz point, a 5 gram bag of tourmaline.

I really, really loved the red jasper piece I got free last order so I wanted to get more. It's the best sacral chakra crystal I have. Carnelian and garnet are my next favorites. I also -had- to get another skull. I only have a rose quartz pendulum so I figured I'd get a skull one too. Out of all the crystals in this order I like danburite the best. It really opens my heart chakra. I also love tourmaline and wanted some chips, especially for the pink tourmaline, which I'm going to give to my sister for her birthday; it's her birthstone. I've been really drawn to lepidolite and it was on sale, that's why I got the raw and tumbled pieces.

Alright, closeups. It's the Scolecite, Apophyllite, copal and free quartz point. I love how the copal smells. xP The apophyllite is very pretty. I'm going to meditate with it alone tonight, usually I do full chakra, or upper chakra setups and I think I need to meditate with my crystals individually more.

Next, the raw lepidolite. It's a very thin piece, but it's soo pretty. Slightly transparent, but it has a lovely, shiny mirror-like appearance.

And the bag of tourmaline chips. It's mostly green and pink, with 3 large-ish black ones. I love black tourmaline. It's my favorite for clearing negative energy. I got a nice big chunk from the Tuscon rock show, it was in a grab bag for like, 1$ or something, fantastic deal. It's like, 1" wide and 1 1/2-2" tall.

Finally, the danburite and rose quartz skull. This skull is much smaller than my amethyst one. At first I thought I had bought the wrong size, but I didn't. I still love it anyway. Also, I got two very nice, clear danburite points and 3 smaller, broken pieces. It was on sale for a good price, and was just standing out to me so I got some. I love it~

Here's my makeup look from yesterday and today ^^

First off, here's yesterday's. I really wanted to wear my orange lipstick, after reading this. I really like orange on me, especially lipstick. ;D It's lime crime's my beautiful rocket. I also wore aromaleigh dandelion, heat wave and ebony on my eyes. I also decided to try something different with my hair ;p I usually have it pushed to the other so when I put it on this side it did this weird curly thing.

And today's look. I used aromaleigh poison ivy, aqua nightmare, awe and tapestry. I'm wearing nyx rhe and victoria secret charm lip gloss. I love this nyx lipstick. It's a fantastic nude color on me and the texture of the lipstick is lovely. I'd love to get some more nyx lipsticks.

Can you see my silly ear cuff? ;D I made it awhile ago. I want a nice one so bad. I love this person's and this person's ear cuffs. But I'm gonna buy like, 30$ of eyeshadow from aromaleigh today, I think. And that's like, all I'm gonna buy for awhile. Unless I sell more backpacks/plushies on etsy.

Revlon two

Well, it's obviously been a few days since my last post, sorry. ;p I've been busy with school and making a monster bag for someone on etsy. By the way, go check them out! I love my purse monster~

Anyway, first off, the ip stains apply pretty unevenly on me. The color gets darker in the middle of my lips and I have a really hard time getting color to stay on my top lip, both you can see in the pictures. They do last a long time, they faded when I ate dinner though.

Here's the first color. It's "Twilight" it's a very red-ish dark pink.

And this is "Midnight". I like the color, it's a dark mauve/berry.

In the end, even though my lips were all moisturized and everything, and I had lip balm on before I put the stains on, they go on unevenly. I like the applicator and the idea of it, but it just doesn't really work out. This stuff's good for layering though. If you wanna have a base for a lipstick or gloss, this stuff would work really well. Here's a picture of midnight with fyrinnae's very berry happy over it.

Revlon's lip stain

Ulta's having a 2 for 10$ sale on revlon lip products from today til the 25. I've been wanting to try their lip stain, and it's usually 9$ each. I also had a coupon for 3.50$ off a 10.00$ purchase. So I got two lipstains for 7.12$. So I got two for less than the price of one~

I don't have any pictures right now, I'll add some later. I got the color "midnight" and I got my sister the color "Twilight" which I'll share with her. This stuff goes on pretty unevenly, and once you get it on it stays there. There's a balm on one side of the pen, but I have my own from aromaleigh that I used instead. It's pretty annoying how unevenly it goes on, my sister alot of had trouble with it. But I love how it stays. I'm not sure how long it stays on yet, but I can tough my lips, drink or eat and the color does not budge. I really like it. The colors look pretty as well. The reason I wanted it is really just for this reason, that it stays well. When my boyfriend's here I cannot wear lipstick or anything. ;p
I'll probably post tomorrow with pictures and how long the stuff lasts.

Isn't he awsome? I found this at michael's today and had to get it. I love the topper. I also got a small clear, round bottle, but it's not as cool as this. He was only 5$ too. I'm not sure what I'm gonna put in it though. But, a pagan can never have too many glass bottles, right? ;p

The topper isn't all that airtight or anything though. It's very loose and won't stay in by itself unless it's just sitting around. Which I'm sure that's what it was meant for, just a decoration, but I don't care~ Also, it had a cheesy label on it; I peeled it off.

What's that rattling around?

Hello~ Yesterday was my birthday. I'm 21 now ;O

I went to a fancy grocery store, Aj's fine foods, and got a scone and sushi. I also got my cockatiel a couple new toys. ^^; I had curry and naan bread for dinner, crepes with nutella, raspberries and bananas for dessert. It was delicious. My parents say they're gonna take me shopping for presents during the weekend. I also should be paying for my classes for the fall semester soon.

Here's my makeup from yesterday

I wore the other pair of Nyx lashes that I got. I couldn't get them to be symmetrical though, it was very annoying and I didn't have time to fix it, I probly couldn't have fixed it anyway. My eyeshadow looks pretty though~ I used aromaleigh dandelion, cricket and tapestry. I really like cricket, it's a bright green but it also has a very lovely gold sheen to it. I also wore maybelline lipstick in windsor rose.

And here's the stuff , my boyfriend, Chris bought for me ^^ I ordered it all from AzureGreen

This is my favorite thing from this order. The tiny bedchamber candlestick holder~ The bigger one with the green taper I already had, just showing it for comparison. It's really nice and fits the chime candles almost perfectly, they're just a little loose.

A rainbow moonstone pendulum~ It has a nice assortment of gemstone chips at the end, where you hold it. I wish the stone was flashier though. I'd really like a flashy stone. My labradorite wand has almost no flashes, my sunstone has a few and this stone has two, I think. But, I like it anyway~

This is my second favorite thing from this order. I looove this tiny bottle. I filled it with some clear quartz chips, a couple lavender flowers, some tiny pieces of frankincense, and sandalwood oil, it smells nice. The only problem is that if I leave the bottle on it's side the oil gets stuck in the top or leaks out a bit.

I got these two necklaces as well. I'm pretty disappointed with them, honestly. The oxidation spots look poorly done on the celtic knotwork pendant. The tree of life pendant, the yellow parts are poorly painted. I really want a nice tree of life necklace. But, I don't want a very expensive one. I really like this one but it's kind of expensive, and I don't want to pay that much and turn out not liking it when I get it.

Sooo hey everyone~

Wheee, ammas/lugh is on sunday ;p I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet. I got some more chime candles from Spelled With a W Only 5$ for 12, including free shipping, totally awsome. I love the mini candles. Here's a picture of my miniature God and Goddess candle sticks, with a normal size one in the middle. ^^ I really need a new taper for that one ;p

I got the mini candle holders at Vermorlian. I really like her shop too. But oh my god, check this out. A miniature chamberstick candle holder?! I so need this. I have a normal size one already. I've always loved these, they're so awsome. I mainly like them for the shape and the little finger holder. xP They also have some really pretty necklaces. I'd really like a nice tree of life necklace to wear. Right now I usually wear a necklace with a gemstone pendant. I've been wearing my bloodstone one from Hibiscus Moon.

Anyway, I also want to show off some crystals I got recently ^^ My boyfriend lost the pendant on the necklace I got him awhile ago so I needed to get him a new one. So, I thought a gemstone one would be nice. He picked out chrome diopside for the pendant, I got some wire and made it into a pendant for him. I forgot to take a picture before I mailed it, but it was very pretty. It made my chest feel warm when I held it. I also got a few for myself. And then a coupe days after I got the first order, I won a 10$ gift certificate from healing crystals. ^^; So I made another order, here's what I got~

I got a set of 10 quartz points, a free natural quartz point that can stand alone, a quartz mini tower (it's so pretty and clear), a nice chunk of pyrite (only 1$), the orange stones are canadian orange calcite, tumbled. to the right of them are some hematite tumbled stones; which I bought 2 of and got one free with a coupon. I also got a very small quartz point free in my first order, I wired it onto Rosalyn's jacket.

A close up of these. Top left, I got 5 citrine pieces, 4 are shown. One is in my witch bottle, which is ower down in this post. In the lower left are two ruby pieces (i'm a leo, I really wanted some stones that're supposed to "resonate" well with leos), in the middle is a beautiful vera cruz amethyst, right above it is a tumbled sunstone (I love it, it's so sparkley and I feel awsome when I wear it. I wire wrapped it so I would wear it as a pendant) and on the right are two small black tourmaline rods. I'm kinda disappointed they're so small. I have a very nice big chunk of black tourmaline from the tuscon gem show in february, it was in a "grab bag" thing. I wanted some more, so I got these. They're very shiny/glossy though. Also, it seems I somehow missed a picture of it but you can see a bit in the top right, I got a green aventurine heart for free from a coupon. I really like healing crystals. They're non-profit, and I talked to the owner myself and he told me they make sure the vendors they get their crystals from are treating their workers/miners well. They also do alot of contests and always have coupons, sales and free crystals.

Anyway, here's my free standing point. It's probably about half an inch tall, but I really like how it can stand by itself. It's sitting infront of my monitor with the pyrite chunk and the mini quartz tower. I'm infront of my computer quite a bit, so I also have a piece of sodalite on my keyboard and on my computer (a wand that, unfortunately by me not thinking well, broke in half), one of the hematite pieces and a carnelian on my keyboard, and green aventurine on my computer.

This is one of the 10 quartz points I got~ It's really cool, it has "steps" on all the sides. I'm not sure how to describe it. I think you can tell in the picture? I have it in an herb bag under my pillow when I sleep.

And here's my box of crystals~ The ones not currently in use anyway. The white bit in the top left is a scrap of rabbit fur I use on my altar during rituals, for the God. ;p

Here's my witch's bottle~ It's for prosperity/money. It looks gross, but also interesting. xD The bottle's from some amazing tapenade I got at an olive farm about an hour from here.

Hey guys~ I have a couple of things to post about today. First off, my last two Aromaleigh orders.

I love all these colors~ I don't use teals and blues a whole lot, even tho I got have alot of blues for some reason. But aqua nightmare is so pretty and bright I had to get it. Bleeding poppy, cricket, oleander vapor and futterby I hadn't tried before I ordered these and I love all of them. Bleeding poppy is beautiful, tho since it has a black base it's kind of hard to work with. Cricket is super bright and really pretty, I wasn't sure about but I'm glad I got it. I have more greens than any other colors. ;p I also adore pink eyeshadows. Oleander vapor looks more purple than I thought it'd be, but on me it has a very nice nude-ish pink color and very sparkley. Flutterby is amazing and I love it. ;D

Here's a look with oleander vapor, bleeding poppy and mayhem's trilogy. Since she had these stocked when she re-opened ordering for the victorian collection I decided I'd buy them. (or my bf bought them for me anyway, he's so sweet~ )

Aaand I got some coating stuff for my ball jointed dolls' faceups so last night I went to ulta to try and get eyelashes. Nyx makeup is on sale so it was only 3$ for their eyelashes. I got a pair and cut them in half. So, I figured I'd try the half I didn't use for my doll. I've never tried false eyelashes before. It's kind of annoying to see them above my eyes all the time but they look really pretty~

The eyeshadows I used are aromaleigh be mine all over my lids, then I think socialite or oldeander's vapor in the v, then flutterby over that to darken the pink. Dandelion one the inner v and brow bone. Lips are revlon matte pink pout with victoria's secret "charm" lip gloss.

I've been reluctant to post pictures of my face, but I really like my makeup today. I'm wearing foundation so my acne doesn't look too bad. So far the soap and toner hasn't been working too well. I'm gonna ask for some more of that masque from solstice scents for my birthday because it worked really, really well. I think I also want a full size "pharaoh" perfume. ;p

Today I went back to ulta again to buy another pair of eyelashes and a lipstick. I got "rea", I wanted a nude-ish shade. They didn't have circe, which is supposed to be nice. I was kinda worried that it looked so brown, but it works really well on me.

Also, isn't the color of my shirt awsome? This is now one of my favorite shirts, It's so bright and it makes me happy. ^^;

And finally a picture of Rosalyn with her new faceup ^^ The lashes are really long. A bit too long but I can't really cut em shorter, I'm not sure what I'll do yet.

Earth vs glitter

Hey guys ^^ I hope you all had a lovely 4th of July. It's only 3 days until the solar eclipse~

So I'm sharing some pictures my sister took of the fireworks we went and saw. Also, I took my dog, Sugar (she's a maltese) with us and she sat with me while the fireworks were going off. She didn't care until the end when there were alot going off, so it was really loud. She started turning her head to the side, it was so cute. xP

And finally, my 2nd midsummer sale order from Aromaleigh that I got awhile ago but didn't get around to posting. I also got Cleantha from the lost in the faerie collection today. It looked so pretty, it was like, calling to me. xP I also made another order the other day, because Armoaleigh's closing I wanted to buy some more. My dad bought them for me as a birthday present. I'll post about them when I get the order. I'm so sad that she's closing. It's surreal thinking I' never be able to buy more eyeshadow from her once the store's closed. I'll probably also make one more, final order once ordering for Victoria's revenge is re-opened....I realyreallyreally want Mayhem's Trilogy. The day I made the order was the day she closed ordering of that collection. D;

Anyway, here's Cleantha with the free sample of Balsam I got. I love cleantha, it's more orange than I was expecting but it's so sparkley and has a very nice yellow base, so I love it. I have Live wire from the Rocks collection, which is similar but this has more orange and a stronger base.

Here's the eyeshadows all together. The full sizes from left to right are Dandelion, Cleantha, Dulcinea and Aurora. The samples are Balsam and the free samples from the sale order, Orinco and Be mine. I looove be mine. It's a very light yellow with a lovely pink shimmer. I got a full size coming in my next order. I also like Orinco, but it's too similar to Aurora for me to want to buy a full size. Balsam is a nice dark grey-brown.

I love dandelion. It's a sheer yellow shimmer. I had a sample for awhile and I knew I wanted to get the full size. I like Aurora too, it's a nice highlight pink shimmer. Dulcinea Is a pretty purple with a light blue shimmer. It's kinda like the opposite of Serenade. I really like it, but I have trouble with the texture/shimmer. The pharoh approaches

Yay, new stuff~ I ordered 3 eyeshadows and a sample from aromaleigh and my boyfriend bought me soap and toner from solstice scents.

Here they are a together. From solstice scents I got the botanical beauty bar and the toner for troubled skin. I also added the rosemilk day cream (on the right, the smaller bottle) I got last month. I also got a sample of the pharoh perfume. From aromaleigh I got full size jars of Girl's night out, Socialite, and Tapestry. I also bought a sample of Mayhem's trilogy and free samples of calendula, alyssum and forget me not.

First I'll talk about solstice scents. I used up my jar of masque, so it lasted about two months, using it everyday. I'd like to get another jar at some point, but I'll cut it down to using it about once a week, it' last much longer that way. I had alot of success using it, but I think I might have over used it. Until about two weeks ago I had much less acne than before I started using the masque. Then my face got really broken out one day and I'm not sure why. It was a really bad break out, I haven't had one so bad in a long time. But, the masque is very nice and cleans the skin very well. I've had the most success with it on my blackheads. I have alot less now and they're small and not too noticeable. Anyway, so I decided to try her soap and toner, I've never tried a toner and I'm hoping it'll make a difference. I've been using a clearasil soap and I wanted to try something with more useful ingredients. So, I highly recommend her masques, especially for blackheads. Also, the day cream. I really love it. It's made a big difference in my skin, when I use it my skin is very soft and doesn't get as oily as it used to. I use it every morning and before bed. I think for my face, it would get too dry so it'd produce too much oil. The day cream makes it so that doesn't happen. Anyway, I'll post in a month or so how the soap and toner's working.

Also, about the perfume. So far I have samples of Pharaoh, Spellbound woods, Astral temple and Cenobite. I'm wearing Pharoh right now, it's a sweet, light-ish scent. I can smell the honey but mainly the muskyiness, it's not too heavy although it is strong, I like it. Spellbound woods to me is very light. It's an inscency, sandalwood and nag champa type scent and I like it as well. Astral temple is allspice and orange. Very orangey, it's nice but not my thing. Cenobite is odd...It smells like cupcakes or sweet, cake-y/icing-y lip balm in the tube. However when I put it on it gets a strange scent, probly like she says in the description, a liquer type scent. I don't like it so I've only worn it once. For the full sizes; sandalwood vanilla is my favorite scent. I love it so much. My only issue is that it seems to fade quickly, or I'm just too used to the scent, I'm not sure. It's a sweet, delicious, but not foody scent. Not exactly vanilla, but sweet and lightly sandalwood scented. I love it even though it's hard to describe. ^^; Moonlight on the grove I also love. It's basically just simple jasmine, but that's what I ike. I love the scent of jasmine and it's not complicated with anything else, just simple, sweet jasmine.

Next, the eyeshadows~ When I saw mayhem's trilogy I knew I had to try it. It looked like my "holy grail" green eyeshadow, and it is. It's the perfect, bright kelly green I've been wanting for a long time. Here it is with calendula~ I only got a sample because I wanted to try it first. I'm hoping to buy a full size later.

Also with my matching kelly green nail polish. It's Essie "Pretty egdy"

I also love calendula. It's very shimmery and much more complex than I was expecting. Its a sightly rosy brown and very shimmery. I think it has yellow or green sparkles in it too. I got it mainly for the name, but I'm gad I got it. ^^ I had samples of socialite and girl's night out for awhile, I've been meaning to buy them but didn't until now since they were 50% off. I love them both. Socialite is a pink with a slightly purple tint, very shimmery. Girl's night out is a bright purple with lots of sparkles and it's one of my favorite eyeshadows. Tapestry is a slightly greyed black, very shimmery. I hadn't tried it before, but I wanted a nice black. I have ebony but I prefer shimmery eyeshadows, they're easier to work with. I'll try using it later, I swatched it and I liked it. I got alyssum and forget me not for my sister. They both look really pretty, I haven't tried them yet though.

The day after I made my order most of the eyeshadows went on sale so my boyfriend let me make another order and he paid for it. ^^; (I need a job so bad, I'm glad he has one atleast.) I got 3 more eyeshadows, I' review em when they get here.

Hey guys~

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a couple weeks. I was kinda moody for awhile, and now my sister's here to visit~ She lives in Kansas, she' married and doesn't visit too often. I also haven't had much to post, I haven't been finding many good links so I don't have anything to post on Fridays. I feel great now tho. I was depressed about not being able to get a job yet. But since it was the waning moon I did a banishing spell and I'm fine now. I'm gonna do another employment spell this thursday, hopefully it'll help me a bit. Litha/midsummer is only a week away! I'm excited, I'm planning on doing a dedication ritual.

Anyway, what else? I got some more perfume from solstice scents. I'm panning on doing like, a follow up review after I use all the masque that I got. I got full size sandalwood vanilla and moonlight on the grove perfumes. I also sent that sample of conjure to my boyfriend and he wants the full size one now. xD

I haven't been able to do any makeup in a few weeks either. I bought a sally hansen nail polish, it's a newer one and it's a super pretty blue. I've been wearing it since I got it, and I got a weird dry spot on my eyelid, so I didn't want to wear any eyeshadow over it. Well, I took off the nail polish like, two days ago and after weeks of having that spot, it's completely gone now. So, I was allergic to the nail polish. It makes me very sad, the nail polish was lovely and there was a green one I wanted too. But, no more sally hansen nail polish for me I guess.

Aromaleigh is also having 50% off deals, and I really want to buy some eyeshadow. I really, really want mayhem's trilogy from her new collection, but I'm kinda waiting til eyeshadow I want goes onto 50% off. I know she's also having a difficult time right now, it's been bothering me lately, actually. So I wanna buy something to help her out, since I wouldn't know what else to do.

Since my older sister is here as well, we usually go shopping. I'd really like to go to the outlet mall here, it's about 40 mins or so away, but it has the closest crystal/mineral store around. And the only chance/excuse I have to go there is if she's here or my boyfriend is here. He'll be visiting in the fall though, I hope. ^^

I like, had a dream about drawing this so I drew it. ;p I used calligraphy pens for the black lines and water color pencils for the other colors. It came surprisingly well, I'm not much of an artist when it comes to drawing. Maybe a fairie helped me out? ;O

Sooo, has anyone been watching the discovery channel? On Wednesdays they've been playing this awsome show called "Weird or what?" Here's the schedule for it

They talk about alot of different, interesting stuff. They talk about different stuff in portions during the show, and they try and test the stuff and figure it out/tak about it, but at the end they're like "you decide". I've only seen the end of two episodes though, unfortunately. I'm gonna try and watch the re-runs on Saturday. On the one that aired yesterday they were talking about how dogs and cats can sense human feelings/body language. They had Laurie Cabot taking about how cats can connect to human brain waves. ;O

I think it's only a temporary series, but it would make an awsome permanent show. Anyway, just my suggestion/opinion~

So, I'm sorry about not doing last Friday's links or anything. I've been busier than usual. However, today I have some reviews for you guys~

First off is this pair of shoes. I'd like to say, these were a major hassle. Two weeks ago when I first decided I would buy them, I went to the Kohls nearest to my house. They had two pairs, and the other store nearby had none. So I decided I'd buy a pair online. I bought a size 6.5, and it took a little more than a week after I ordered them to arrive here. When I received them they were too small, and one of the heels of the shoes was shorter than the other. So I could not wear them and I had to again, go to the two kohls nearby and ask them if they had a size 7. Neither did, so I had them cal the other stores not so nearby and there was a pair at a kohls about 20 mins from my house. We went there and I got them, but the part that goes across my feet/toes is too big! I had to get some inserts to go under there, but it's still not a perfect fit. My toes don't go out and hang over the edge, but they're not the most comfortable pair of shoes. I can handle them however. If they were not so awsomely cute, they would not have been worth the hassle. They've also lowered the price online twice since I ordered the shoes.

Here's some pictures of them, though not on my feet. Maybe I'll do an outfit post later with one of the dresses I got at forever 21 the other day.

Next up, I made an order from SolsticeScents. Actually, it was two orders, I purchased the Oatmea honey masque for myself and I think the next day my boyfriend wanted to buy me something, so I picked the Conjure perfume. She was awsome enough to ship them together, I didn't even have to ask, and she refunded me the extra shipping. I paid 4.95$ shipping for the masque and it was 1.75 for the perfume, and she refunded me 3.95. So, it was only 2.75$ shipping. I really like this because I was worried initially about buying the masque with 4.95 shipping.

The jar is actually a ton smaller than I was expecting it to be. At first I was disappointed, but when I used it I didn't need all that much to cover my face. It smells super delicious. I think it smells mainly coconut-y, but when my brother smelled it he thought it smelled like honey. I tried it out last night and it is really amazing. After having it on my face for about 15 mins I washed it off, and I've never had my face feel more clean or soft.

It was sealed when I got it. I think that's really professional, the perfume was also sealed. The jar was completely filled to the top, this is after I used it as a masque once and washed my face with it once.

Next up is the perfume. Conjure has a very strong amber, sort of musky scent. There is a bit of incense-y nag champa under tones. I like it somewhat, but not as much as I was hoping. It's a little too masculine for me, I think. However, when I had lit some nag champa incense, this perfume smelled completely different. It was more vanilla-y and spicy sort of foral scented. I wish it could've stayed smelling like that, but as soon as I got away from the incense it smelled the way it did before. It makes me think that Conjure might layer really well with her Nag Champa perfume. There's also alot in that bottle, it' last awhile so it's a great price. I just need a very small swipe and it's strong and lasts all day.

I also got samples of Sandalwood Vanilla, Spellbound Woods and Conjure. When I ordered the masque I asked for samples of Sandalwood Vanilla and Conjure, not thinking I'd be getting the full size yet. I'm sending the conjure sample to him so he can smell it. ;p Anyway, I couldn't decide between sandalwood vanilla or conjure, and he said conjure because he said he remembered not liking sandalwood. Ironically enough, I really love the Sandalwood Vanilla, more than Conjure. It's a lighter, more feminine scent in my opinion. Sort of soapy, and not terribly sandalwood-y or vanilla-y. So I'll probably get a full size Sandalwood Vanilla at some point.

I also really want to try her Rosemilk day cream because I love rose oil, and I need a lotion for my face. She also had a botanical face soap that I'd like to get too. (I've been using a nutrogeana spot treatment cream for the past 6 months and while it helps, it's just not enough. I've also been only using a plain cleanser, and I want something better.)

Anyway, altogether I really like SolsticeScents. She's very nice, and the products I got were packaged very well, shipped quickly and nicely, and all smell good even if the perfume was not quite to my taste. I think I will become addicted to her shop, I want to try everything ^^; I think I'm going to have to buy the day cream before she closes.

Hello everyone~ I bought some lipsticks today, so I'm posting twice. ^^ I'll do the links post later on.

Ulta's having a sale, 40% off revlon, maybelline, almay and ulta makeup. I really love revlon lipsticks, especially the matte ones so I wanted to go and buy some. I also had a coupon for an extra 3.50$ off.

These are the colors I got. Revlon matte pink pout and Really red, Maybelline Nude blush and Windsor rose. Right now I have mainly dark brown or purple lipstick so I wanted to get some lighter colors.

First off is pink pout. This is the one I mainly went to buy, I've been wanting a light pink and I knew this one was really nice. Phyrra has worn it several times, and I really liked the color. It's a bright pink, but it looks really natural. With the matte lipstick it's important to have nice, well moisturized lips, otherwise it can clump. This one works better than Wine not in regards to that, it doesn't clump as easily. It's also not as matte, especially if you use lip balm underneath, which I did. But overall, I really like it. It looks a little pinker in person than in this picture.

Next up is Really red. And it really is really red. ;p I absolutely love it. It's not quite as matte as I was hoping for, but it's an excellent red. I had lip balm underneath so that might've contributed to the texture/appearance. This one went on much smoother than pink pout and wine not. Never mind that it doesn't match my eyeshadow very well. xP

This is Nude blush. I wanted a nude type lipstick, and I'm kind of disappointed in this. It's very sheer and I don't like it very much. It's very moisturizing, so it's more like a tinted lip balm. But, it added almost no color to my lips. I really looked at both revlon and maybelline's lipsticks and neither had any nude shades that looked any good. Revlon has a matte nude shade, but I don't think it'd look good with my skin tone. Maybe I'll try getting it some time.

And finally Windsor rose. I actually love this one it's a very nice pink/rose color. It's not nearly as sheer as nude blush, and it's the same type of lipstick so it's also very moisturizing.

And finally, for reference, here's my lips with nothing but lip balm. ;D

Hello~

Not too much this post, but I bought those shoes, yay~ They were kind of a hassle to get. On Saturday I went to Kohls to see if they had them and I could get them on sale for another 15% off the price, but both stores near here didn't have my size. I told my boyfriend, Chris, and he was going to pay for them but the Kohls website wouldn't accept his card, it's not American. Soo I had to buy them myself, I got them for 27$ but the day after I bought them online the price dropped by 5$. I don't think kohls likes me much. But they were just shipped today so I'll post pictures of them whenever they arrive.

Anyway, here's some makeup I did the other day~ I really like it. I don't remember exactly what I used for the eyeshadow, but I'm pretty sure I atleast used Aromaleigh dandelion, which I really love. I picked it out as a sample last time I ordered from there and I didn't know I would like it so much. I don't buy alot of light colors or highlighter colors, but this one's very pretty. Also, on my lips is Revlon matte lipstick in Wine not, which I also love because it's such a pretty dark red.

And extra, who likes calligraphy?

I do! ;p I think it's lovely, and I've always been interested in it ever since I was very young. It's been awhile since I last wrote anything in calligraphy. I have a shaeffer fountain pen that I can no longer unscrew the nib on, so it's really useless. I've been longing to have a use-able dip pen and ink for awhile, and I finally bought some today. The one I had was very old and rusted, so I bought a new one and re-discovered the gold one in the picture above. When I originally got it the ink didn't work too well with the nib so I didn't like it. With the new ink I purchased it writes beautifully, and holds the ink in the nib for a long time.

I also got a set of nibs and pen, I hadn't tried thicker nibs before, but I like them because they can do more contrasting thick/thin lines, as seen above. This is the set I bought I originally only had the pen and C 4 and 5 nibs. Anyway, the script isn't perfect, mainly the "F" tilted the wrong way. But Calligraphy is so relaxing and delightful, I could write all day. I would love to find some font charts for calligraphy, but was unable to find anything decent when I search online.

So, have any of you ever tried calligraphy? How do you like it? Is it pretty, or are you indifferent? ;p

Hello everyone~ How was your week? Mine is ending well, happily enough. I'm finally starting to learn Dutch. ;D My boyfriend is dutch, he lives in the Netherlands, I'd like to move there at some point. (We've been together 3 years now) So, I/we finally found a way to start learning.

Anyway, I'm having a serious withdrawal of buying stuff; I haven't bought anything in awhile. So there's a few things I've been pining for. I'm really bad about this, though I generally don't give in. Or I buy something not very expensive, but something I wanted. The things I want to buy aren't usually too expensive in the first place anyway.

First up on my list is this pair of shoes I want them sooo bad. They're on sale until Sunday, and I can get a coupon that'll take another 15% off so they'll only be about 25$. I like wedges, but I pretty much never find any sandal wedges I like. I hate cork soles, and most wedges have cork soles. But this pair is so me. I don't know whether I'm going to buy them or not.

Solstice Scents has some amazing sounding, and amazingly priced, perfumes. I'm interested in Spellbound woods, nag champa, sandalwood vanilla, conjure, pharaoh and scrying smoke. They also just added quiet night as a perfume which sounds amazing. I have some lavender chamomile soap from bath and body works and I absolutely love the scent of it. I've never really used much perfume, and I want to. I have a perfume from Villainess that I like okay, but I'm kinda reluctant to use it because it was so expensive. I also have a sample one from Victoria Secret, but I really dislike traditional perfumes. They're too over powering and mostly smell the same to me.

Anyway, ever wanted a skull shaped soap?

This is totally amazing I love modified shoes. I modified a pair of my own shoes awhile ago. I think it'd be cool to modify and sell shoes, but I don't think I could find nice enough shoes often enough, or modify them well enough to sell.

Man, it's Friday again already?

This week was strange, I've been feeling weird and moody all week. Of course the full moon on Monday didn't help much. I like the waning moon better, I always feel better during the waning moon/new moon.

Beltane's in a month and I've been trying to decide what I want to get...I'm not sure whether I want to get Beltane oil or herbs, or neither and get some third eye/intuition oil instead. Anyone have any advice on what's most useful? ;p I've really been wanting some perfume too. Something with either a strong sandalwood or rose scent.

Anyway, onto the links~ Even less than usual this week, blah.

The Worst Things Beautiful

Not too much today, but I made this backpack for myself over the weekend and I wanted to show it off a bit. ;p

It's supposed to look like some plushie things I've made for eventually selling on etsy. But I made this for me to use. The shoulder strap is supposed to look like his arms, so the ends I put claws and sewed it together. I think I might eventually make more and probably more purse sized, if whenever I start selling the plushies they sell well.

This is awsome and ridicuous

Kristi here on her blog wrote an amazing article about energies and crystal energies. Really good beginning to work with energies. I'm going to try to do the exercises everyday if I can, since I'm still learning on working with crystals and energies.

Littledevildesigns have some really awsome pendants, I really want one. My favorites are the pentacle and moon, Thistle though I'd need to check the symbolism on that one if there is any, and this tree of life.

Here's my makeup from Saturday, Ostara. I really like how the eyeshadow came out.

And here's some pictures of my altar. I didn't do a whole lot. I got an herb incense mix a few weeks ago which I used to put in the eggs and the little red dish in the middle. It smells really, really good. I put the clear egg under my pillow and the egg with the ribbons on my door knob. I also made myself a wand. ^^ It's a dowel covered in 2 ribbons with a quartz crystal I fought to wire onto the end. (It was pretty tricky) There's also a heart charm and a rose quartz bead on the dangle-y ribbons.
I got the herbs and the two candle holders and mini taper candles from Vermorlian. She's really awsome. I'll take better pictures of the candle holders later. The altar picture seems to have shrunk when I posted it in here.

And today I made Chouette an outfit based off an Alchemist from Ragnarok, cause I was feeling nostalgic for the game. She even has a tiny potion bottle filled with quartz pieces. I used colors that are different than the sprite/character because although I love the design, but I dislike the "default" colors. I also didn't have fabric the same color as the sprite. I also only have this pair of shoes for her, so they don't exactly match.

Che esy b movie I'm currently watching while my cockatiel, Edgar tries to eat my mouse.

So, tomorrow is Ostara, or the Spring/Vernal Equinox, yay~ I'm not doing anything too fancy, this is going to be my first sabbat. I'm just going to make a wand and fill some plastic eggs with herbs. I'll probly do a small ritual/meditation and I'll post pictures of my altar on Monday. I might plant some seeds, but I'm not sure.

Edit: Also! I saw the new Alice in wonderland movie. I thought it was okay, they used way too much cgi. I really don't like cgi, I think it limits ingenuity and creativity. It looks less awkward and more detailed when there are actual props. I think cgi is kind of lazy-mode for most movie makers. Sometimes it's okay, like for hundreds-thousands of feet tall monsters.Computer animated movies like pixar's are alright too, but those aren't exactly the same as cgi in a live action movie. :End edit:

Heart of a Lion

So it's been almost a week since I last posted, blah. ;p
I went to the Ren Faire on Sunday and it was alot of fun~ The girls I went with I didn't know too well though, and they mainly talked about cosplay and stuff I couldn't really talk about.

There was plenty of things I wanted to buy, mainy a black leather purse. (Although some of the stuff was pretty overpriced) Unfortunately I didn't have the money for anything expensive, so I got a very simple pentacle necklace and a red leather rose pin that they put rose oil on so it smells amazing.

I wore this leather medicine bag necklace, which I usually put a few stones and a feather in for protection from negativity and several people told me it looked pretty. ;p I love it, I got it in a Native American trading shop a long time ago, and the tree of life charm I just added recently.

Today I went to the mall, yay~ I haven't been there since early January. I got a shirt and a skirt that are really cute. Unfortunately it seems every time I go to forever 21 I find less and less cute stuff. I guess I just like their winter clothes, or the winter clothes that they had when they opened. The mall nearest to me has a 2 story forever 21, which opened sometime last year I think. I really love Spring, it's my favorite season, but I typically don't like the clothes they sell in springtime.

Just a short post today.

Here's the makeup I wore. Really simple, just some black liner and aromaleigh arabesque at the inner corners of my eyes. This is Diabolic masquerade. I really like it, but after awhile it bled and turned the edges of my lips grey-ish. Lip liner would probably help alot.

Riding with Death

Riding with Death A really ridiculous, horrible 70s movie. ;p I'm watching it right now, but the Mst3k version.

Anyway, here's my look from today~ I used aromaleigh Hot stuff and Verbena, and Fyrinnae Nevermore (the purple) It's really nice, a purple that I've been wanting for awhile. The quality of this eyeshadow is the same as Aromaleigh. I'm wearing the "fanservice" lip lustre from my last post. It's really nice, and it lasted all day, except when I ate food ;p So I only had to reapply once. Though I love reapplying it because it feels so nice.

I also realized I had the "vivid" setting on when I took these and yesterday's pictures, blah. It doesn't affect the eye and lip colors too much but it makes my skin look odd.

I didn't go anywhere except out for a walk today, but it was soooo windy. It felt like someone was pushing me along. But, I love this weather, it's very nice and not too cold and definitely not too warm.

Istanbul, not Constantinople

I got a surprise in the mail today~ My boyfriend bought me 3 lip lustres from Fyrinnae and they got here today. I wasn't expecting them to arrive today.
I completely love them. A very small amount is opaque, and it looks as opaque as a lipstick. But it feels sooo nice on my lips.

The first color is Very Berry Happy. It's a nice basic light pink and it smells delicious. I put it on a bit light. It can go more pink/opaque than this, but it didn't look too great on me. ;p

Next is fanservice. I really like this one. The color is really pretty and it looks good on me. It's sort of a saturated lilac. I love bright colored lipstick as well, and this one is awsome. The scent isn't too strong, but it's nice. Sorry it looks kinda messy in the picture. I wanted to try all 3 ;p I'l probably do a look with this lip color tomorrow. I also got an eyeshadow sample of "Nevermore", and it's a lovely purple I'll also try out tomorrow.

And finally, Diabolic Masquerade. It's a very sparkley dark red, but from far away it looks mostly black. I really, really love it. It's definitely the best dark lip color I've ever tried. I'll also do a look with this lip lustre soon.

Crazy Flower

Today I wanted to do some makeup inspired by the dress I wore. The colors aren't exactly the same, and I couldn't blend the green and pink together too well, but I like how it came out.

I used all eyeshadows from Aromaleigh
The colors were livewire, peony, return to tiffany's and radioactive.
I'm very sad, Aromaleigh is discontinuing their lip products And I really, really love her lip balm. I think I will have to buy a lip balm before they're gone. And maybe, hopefully a "Gothic Lolita Nourishing Color" or a "Rocks! Sonic Lips Nourishing Lip Tint". I bought meloncholia before, and I like it. I got a sample of sweet tart, and I like it too. If I get one of the gothic lolita ones I'll get sweet tart, short cake or cream puff. I've also been unable to try the rocks lip colors, and now if I don't get one I won't be able to. Having no money sucks, this is the worst timing. xP I suggest anyone who reads this to buy one of their lip balms, it's the loveliest lip balms I've ever tried~

So, today, maybe a bit more about me?

I'm currently living in Arizona, and I hate it. It's too hot. There's only two seasons, Summer and spring; too-hot and not-so-hot. It's not so bad when it's not summer though. I was born in California, in the Bay area and I loved it there. We lived in Montana after that, and it was beautiful there. I've always been partial, and felt connected to nature, which is one of the reasons I like paganism.

I love art. Makeup is my favorite art form. I've always been interested in cosmetics, but never wore much until about a year or two ago when I discovered Aromaleigh. Now I love it, and I especially like bright colors. I'd consider myself goth, but I adore bright colored eyeshadow, lipstick and tights. Wearing bright makeup everyday, or any makeup is difficult for my sometimes, I am lazy. I also adore goth, victorian and flapper fashion. Goth fascinates me because I have a partiality to creepy and macabre things. One of my favorite past times is watching old horror b-movies; I have a slightly macabre/dark sense of humor. ;p But I enjoy bright, flowery and happy things too. My favorite season is Spring.

Paintings are my second favorite art form, though I don't consider myself much of a painter. Mark Ryden is an amazing artist, definitely my favorite. I used to draw, in high school when I was bored. I originally started art with pixel dolls, and I made pixel dolls probably for 5-6 years. I'm not really a "born artist", however art is lovely and something I enjoy anyway. Reading is also a rare, but enjoyed past time of mine. I don't have a favorite writer in particular; my favorite book is Frankenstein though.

To end this post for today I have another picture of Chouette with some pretty blue eyes I made for Rosalyn.

Well, I am PonPon, or DeathButterfly. I decided to start a blog because I love sharing things with other people, but I have no one in particular to share everything with.

I used to love pixel dolling but I don't have time, or enjoy making them anymore. I have two ball jointed dolls. I also love makeup, I don't want to have a specifically makeup centered blog because there are so many, and I don't put on fancy makeup everyday, or buy alot of makeup. I also don't want a specifically ball jointed doll blog because, though I love my dolls, I don't spend a whole lot of time and money on them. I also like sewing, and I'm hoping to open an etsy shop for some plushie rag doll monsters that I'm working on. I'm very interested in paganism and crystals/gemstones as well. So, I'm going to blog about a mix of all my interests. ^^
